Alexandra Reynolds - Choreographer and Movement Director

Over a career spanning two decades, Alex has collaborated with some of Europe’s most innovative and exciting directors and her distinctive work has featured in film, commercials, music videos, theatre, live spectacle, television drama and opera. She is highly respected as an effective and modern operator whose methodology is sophisticated yet accessible.

Alex is experienced as a technical choreographer and movement director. Areas of special expertise include motion capture, motion control and green screen. She is also in demand in the music industry as performance coach for a number of high profile acts. She has choreographed for any variety of locations from large scale international tours to smaller more intimate venues.

More recently, Alex has focussed on movement direction and choreography for young children in all media, forming a team of specialists in the area of crowd scenes and individual performance. From a cast of 150 children in a site specific performance of ‘The Ancient Mariner ‘ for the South Bank Project to an unnerving solo performance in the Foal’s promo for ‘Blue Blood’ (director Chris Sweeney), Livid have shown themselves to be at the forefront of new movement techniques and delivery. Alex’s interest in developmental movement in children and young people has made this a niche area of expertise.
